The city of Beit Shemesh is located in the center of Israel’s map, between the Jerusalem Mountains and the coastal plain. Equidistant from the Tel Aviv metropolitan and Jerusalem – the nation’s capital, its residents enjoy fresh, clean air, nature reserves and agricultural tracts, and the spectacular view of forests in any direction they care to view. Climate is temperate – no coastal humidity or mountain chill. And the young, 81,000-strong population is witnessing a regional development that includes the construction of thousands of housing units, high-tech industrialization providing more and more jobs, and all transforming Beit Shemesh into an ideally attractive place to live. |
